I would be remiss if I let the fall slip away without posting pictures of the gorgeous color change that happened in DC. Some refer to this as "fall foliage"....I prefer "fall leaves" because it leaves nothing to question as to what foliage really is. I mean really, what changes color?? Leaves. When do they change color? Fall. Making "fall leaves" a more exact term. But for those who like to say "fall foliage" be my guest....and be prepared to then answer the inevitable followup question - "You mean fall leaves??"
